Walk Overview

The last day of our week long stay in Ambleside and we finished with a belting
short circular walk from Staveley Village taking in Reston Scar and Hugill Fell.
I cannot recommend this walk highly enough

Looking to High Knott and the Williamson Monument

Looking to High Knott and the Williamson Monument. The subject of some
controversy by Wainwright Outlying Fell baggers as the summit is completely
out of bounds as is guarded over zealously by the Farmer

The entrance gate to High Knott

The entrance gate to the approach to High Knott. Its quite clear what one
fell walker thinks about the Farmers decision to prevent access :)
